The British Character

Many of my drawings on here were originally inspired by the British cartoonist who called himself 'Pont', which was the pen name of Graham Laidler. He was very popular in the 1930s for his cartoons about the British. Mine have revisited his theme, and in some cases either brought them up to date, and in others are simply new ideas. I hope you enjoy them.

Other drawings are on the theme of 'Apt Names', and are simply a bit of fun with people's names and what they might do for a living.
